Most improved Tigers in 2021?

According to Champion Data:

RICHMOND

1. Nathan Broad: 3.0 ranking points improvement

2. Jack Riewoldt: 2.0

3. Noah Balta: 1.8

------------------------------------------

So what is Champion Data’s metric system to rank players?

All 18 clubs use the system to varying degrees. It provides a more detailed analysis than simply kicks, handballs, marks or centre clearances.

AFL Players Ratings measure the impact a player has on matches. The metric takes into account how a player wins the ball, where on the ground they win it and what they do with it. A kick after the siren to win the game is worth more than a kick after the quarter-time bell, for example.

Players who win the ball in the contest, gain territory towards goal or use the ball well will get rewarded. Players who win the ball on the outside, don’t impact the play in a positive manner for the team or don’t use it well don’t get rewarded.
