The news reckons the dogs pick 23 is being chased by clubs. I assume that means the dogs might party with it. Another top 30 pick for us? What have we got to give to get it.

They'll probably want something for this year you'd think. Don't think it's worth our while to get involved

The Doggies need that pick for Darcy Jnr
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Was happy to cop the odd clickbait article & social nuff if it meant assisting the club’s overall list strategy.

NORTH Melbourne has pulled off a stunning free agency coup, pinching star midfielder Hugh Greenwood from Gold Coast after he was surprisingly cut last week to help the club's list strategy.

It's understood the Kangaroos have signed Greenwood to a two-year deal as a delisted free agent, beating the Suns to his signature after they had promised to re-list the experienced onballer during next week's NAB AFL Draft.

One of the most bizarre turn of events I’ve seen in recent times. Could the suns not have picked a player other than Greenwood who at the least is in their top 10 players to delist and redraft? Did Greenwood only volunteer to be delisted so that he could do a sneaky and get out of the Gold Coast? Either way I hope this is the beginning of the end of clubs using this stupid loophole around list management rules.

Surprised. Had a very solid 2021.

Roos done well given how much they need soldiers.

Reading Hugh's post on Twitter it sounds very much like he screwed over GCS for a better contract, that is he just walked out without telling them a whole lot haha. Must be that Crows culture still in him...

But Hugh had a contract a very good contract $$$ wise that's why he joined the Suns in the first place.

And now low and behold after the bizarre decision by the Suns to cut him and then re-draft thereby honouring the original contract Hugh gets offered more $$$ again by N0rt and he takes it

Clear pattern here with Hugh or so it would appear.

Suns have screwed up here in a massive way and Hugh's done what Hugh seems to do and that's take the $$$

Like you said Andyy once a Crow.... :whistle

What do you expect from Norf. They are just above Carlton and level with Collingwood and Essendon in the "do whatever it takes" culture

#lolnorf think they are heavy hitters after playing hardball on CCJ but in reality are the most busted ass club in the league

Poor form by Norf, there must be an unwritten rule around this type of thing

Can't really blame Hugh.

Serious coin for a potato who has laid a bucket of tackles lately.

Players don't need to be loyal to clubs either - clubs do this all the time. De-list a bloke, tell him not to train elsewhere, that he'll get picked up again later. Never do. It ended the career of one person I know (at North, under Laidley).

Gold Coast is “strongly considering” drafting delisted Geelong midfielder Charlie Constable, reports SEN’s Sam Edmund.
