Please no Aarts  :P.

In:  Floss, Sonsie (debut)

Out: Gibcus (rested - my Spy says he hardly trained [rehab] this week), Kmac (protocols)

I've got a Rioli feeling instead of Sonsie MT.  Reckon his tackling pressure on the narrow Adelaide Oval will suit our game.

I'd try Castagna on the wing. Quick, fit and a good mark.

Kicking hardly worse than kmac
it is worse. He's the worst kick in the country. Has a dip but he's actually gone backwards at an alarming rate the last 2 years

You may be right, TT. Maurice had very good game against Footscray and we do usually announce debuts rather than spring a surprise when the team is announced. My preference though is Sonsie as he consistently finds the ball which sides need now with the new rules. If Sonsie has a quiet game he'll still get 15+ possies. If Maurice has a quiet game he'll only have about 5 possies and be unsighted.

Tom Browne on 7news stating Vlastuin in for Kmac. Not sure yet if that's the only change.

Because it might just be close contact not actual Covid

Like a leg injury vs a knee or an ankle.
If it’s covid call it covid, if it’s close contact then let’s hear about it.
From what I’m hearing, a number of covid positive cases are affected physically for more than a week despite being able to play so it’s a relevant distinction
Agree 100%  :thumbsup.

Great tackler but his kicking needs a lot of work.

lmfao at the changes. Would not drop Gibcus unless he is just super super sore which i doubt.

Effectively they have bought in Vlastuin for a kid who has not done a hell of a lot wrong. Fmd what iss wrong with our mature players coming back thru the reserves and finding some touch there.

McIntosh out well imo a good thing but covid is about the only way Hardwick will do something about him.
Castagna lol and people want the biggest hack of a ball on a wing our fwd 50 entries are bad enough with out that hack playing there.

including Vlastuin who i think should come thru the ressies  i would have gone with 5 changes
ins - Vlastuin, Mansell Sonsie, Stack, Lambert  and i would have made RC-D SUB.

Outs - Baker has been very average, McIntosh Covid, Graham giving us very little week in week out, Edwards who has really struggled, Castagna  because he is just a dud and Ross who was the sub i think.

So, that’s 5 changes in a 7 goal win vs last year’s GF’s?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Normally I agree with half of what you say and take the rest with a grain of salt but are you high on this one? You were away and didn't see the WB game?

Baker was the bloody barometer mate.

Hardwick will bone Teague before dropping Baker after a game like last week.

Baker is the first picked and has been solid this year.

Has been ordinary this year will watch for him in wb game again.

Baker aside would still like to see the underperformers get the arse.

If we had lost the WB game im asking myself who would have been in the gun.It was a game despite the eventual score we were badly beaten in several key areas and i think any open minded person would agree there are things that keep happening every week and a win like the dogs game just papers them over.

Besides my take on everything this year is primarily aimed at getting games into the youth while phasing out the older blokes.
I have seen nothing so far this year that suggests we can win the flag.

He's not having a good year but a couple of his actions vs WB were game changers.

A few I'd drop before him. Edwards, Castagna etc.
