Barrett on MMM this arvo said Collingwood is leading the race for Taranto but they need to clear salary cap space (offload someone like Grundy or De Goey).

Barrett also said Taranto can't get enough gametime in the Giants midfield and the clubs pursuing him are offering him to play more time in their midfield.

Plenty of midfield time available here given we have about 1 top shelf proper midfielder in Prestia and the rest are either part timers, less talented or fossilised. Heck even Prestia is a soft tissue nightmare.
