Of those remaining I'd be most interested in keeping gray. Blight.

I think club may be looking to move Blight on. There was that report that came out that said he was 1 game away from triggering a new contract and he hasn’t sniffed a game since.

As long as either the eagles or freo want him, that should cover our kellaway pick.

Should name him for 1 game, trigger a contract, force a trade :)

They’d have to trade even when out of contract unless it’s different for rookie listed players. Although they could just refuse and walk him to the draft. Just throw us a 3rd-4th rounder and call it a day lol

WCE could PSD him so we could screw them for a 3rd rounder if we contract him another year lmao

They apparently don't have a 3rd rounder.

.gave it to lions.

Currently pick 37.
.
Would be very handy

It seems like they don’t want to do that in case a team doesn’t want to trade for him and then he’s on the list for another season. I think our list spots are at a premium and they want to keep what little flexibility they have.

Cut 8 it aint rocket science.

Trade Blight for a packet of crispy cremes if neccesary will get enough for Kellaway probably. Way too many tall defenders on our list and imo his pace will hold him back at the top level.
Trade young we have so many tall defenders and there is always a club wanting depth.Thats 4 picks in the nd.

Would not promote Trezise does not have enough tools imo opening a psd spot or room for a f/a. Cut Sonsie making a spot for Campbell on list proper.
Cut Bauer fmd we have how many talls again making a rookie spot. pee Colina off and rookie a young ruckman.Have McIntosh retire opening a spot for msd or psss. cut Dow and go back to the f/a pool looking for a simple upgrade.

Make no mistake list turnover is our biggest list management issue and we need to find a way to do it.

By some margin we have the worst mid tier group in the whole comp. We are staying near the bottom for some time so at any cost do not hang onto dead wood.

Your suggested "cuts" are flawed

I am sick of repeating this but cutting Colina makes zero difference to our total list of 44. He is a category B rookie and sits outside the total off 44. Cutting him only frees up a category B spot only not a spot on our main or rookie list

The most you can have on the main list is 38. You want to take 4 picks to the draft get 2 F/As and promote Campbell.

Blight is rookie as is Trezise and Bauer so cutting them either via trade or delist doesn't free up any spots on the main list only on the rookie list. Kmac, Dow and Young free up 3 spots not the 7 or 8 you are suggesting.

So it may not be "rocket science" to you but your your suggested scenario is flawed and won't get you what you are wanting/demanding

What do you replace them with?

Don't have draft picks. In a weak draft.
