People can feel free to abuse me and i promise i will wash my mouth out but the arch enemy have done well, its come too soon but hey it had to happen sooner or later but they are ready to challenge id say.

In some ways they remind me of us 2016 2017.  Now where is the bloody soap.
Under voss they play hard and have gotten a large group of players to 70 80 plus games and they have good structure with a deep midfield.
I don't for a minute think round one will be a certainty.

Our midfield was resoundingly beaten in the opener last season after Prestia went down early in the second. Assuming he is fit to play (the full match this time) and with the additions of TT and Hopper and the blues loss of Walsh, I see that completely flipping around. Their defence is good but a fully fit lynch (question marks on this) is almost impossible to stop and with the talent and variety we have around him I don’t really see any defence capable of clamping us. Defensively I think we matchup fine, just have to contain their big2 as I don’t think their small forward department has much chops. If our midfield improves as much as I think it will we shouldn’t have situations where they are able to waltz out from the centre circle which happened numerous times last year in the opener.

Claw, our team looks good, but I think it will be close.

Carlton also have a good team, on top of that their new coaching setup have made them into a really cohesive unit.

It will take our best to win it IMHO.

How tuff will it be? 8.5/10

Looks like a great game to me.

Two good teams IMO.

No idea which way this will go myself.

Walsh isn't playing, injured.
