Borrowed question from twitter:

What are some insane football games you've been to? No finals, only home & away games.

Define insane?

Some good ones I remember...

Scoreboard catching fire
Brisbane game when Bowden kicked 4-5
Jack kicking 10 vs WCE
Sydney game when Collins got concussed but jagged 3 including the winner. Other close ones WCE 2019, GWS 2021 I think Marvel.
Richos 200th was a special one vs PA, huge mark on half time

West Coast 2019. Insane.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

The Gaspar-gate game. I thought Geelong were going to kick 45 goals.

The Jordan McMahon goal after the siren game. Only time I've walked out straight after a win without staying for the song. In fact, some Dees supporters were singing our theme song after the game joyful they had 'saved' their priority pick.

2006 Adelaide game at Docklands under Wallace where we won because Joel and Paddy Bowden got a gazillion possessions across half-back playing kick to kick.

Docklands again 2008 vs Brisbane. Last quarter was crazy. 25 down we kick the first six goals to lead 12. Then Brisbane takeover and kick the next 3 in time on and we look like we've thrown the game away. Step up Richo and then Tambling passes to Joel Bowden for the winner right at the end of the game.

Monday night 1995 game. Only time I went to the footy by car and of course we get stuck in traffic outside the 'G  :P and miss us kicking 6 goals in the first 10 minutes which was crazy in itself.

2017 prelim. Never have and don’t think I ever will see another crowd that size so heavily in favour of one team over the other. Just insane noise and atmosphere.

Two games in Perth.

2013 vs the Eagles  - we kicked 9 goals in a row . I was in my element telling the Eagles supporters to look at the score.

2017 vs the Dockers - 100 pt demolition.

Was there and loved it too. Only excluded due to the no finals clause.

I was thrilled to belt geelol the fortnight earlier tho. I hate them so much
