Having been a top team in recent years, the Tigers haven’t exposed as many young players as some clubs. Balta is not a natural footballer but has grown into his role and was a premiership player in 2020. Ryan is an athletic and competitive big man who appears to have good footy IQ, while Ross has been in and out of the senior team but has shown good signs as an outside midfielder when he has played.

And then who. Why not make it 25 to try and fit another in. the cupboard is pretty bare if honest with ourselves.

Bolton and Young are the only 24 yr olds on the list.. One is not up to standard and Bolton is a beaut.

Forget about those who have not got to at least 10 games and look at those 24 and unders who have. 14 fit the criteria of at least 10 games aged 24 thru18.

Of the 18 to 21yr olds  or juniors there is only Gibcus who has shown he belongs and he has missed his entire second year a worry in itself.

Bolton 24/6 103gms. sml mid/fwd. these two are easily the best of them.
Young 24/9 10gms. KPD battler,
Mansell 23/0 27gms. sml fwd/def. Battler
Miller 23/9 19gms. kpd/ruck battler.
Ross 22/9 53gms, wing battler.

The following are either not up to it, Show potential, or show potential  but failed to get many games and are still trying to get regular games and establish themselves
Cumberland 22/3 16gms. Sml/med fwd  Gotta ask is his career on the line the way this yer has gone
Ryan 22/6 13gms. ruck Shows potential as a ruckman.

Juniors who have at least 10 games

Dow 21/8 14gms. sml/med mid. geez career must be on the line
Ralphsmith 21/7 29gms. med wing. for me not up to it.
M Rioli 20/9 22gms. sml fwd. so far is lacking in too many areas. gotta ask is he good enough to even keep.Atrocious skills atm
Sonsie 20/4 10gms. SML MID/FWD cant crack a senior game shows potential gone backwards imo.
Gibcus 20/2 18gms.KPD Done enough in yr one to establish himself.Missing a year with injury is a concern.
Clarke 19/7 14 gms. Sml fwd. Shows potential.


Interesting is the types we have seen fit to play at least 10 times in that age 24 - 18 bracket
4 KPD. Balta, Gibcus, Young, Miller well not anymore.
1 RUCK. Ryan. Miller as backup ruck.
4 SML FWDS. Clarke , MRJ, Cumberland sml/med fwd, Mansell lol.
2 SML MID/FWDS Bolton, Sonsie
2 WINGS Ralphsmith, Ross lol again.
1 SML/MED MID Dow.







Mcguane is right talking about a GROUP  of players 23 and under in the above case 24 and under then ours would be one of the worst lists.

Reckon only 6 or 7 atm that id go out of my way to make sure they stay.
