q1 - Motordrome - 1932 - where Olympic Park now sits

q2, only twice in the 1940 season, 2nd semi and grand final.  We won the 2nd semi by a goal, then lost the grannie by 39 points!

q8?

1. I'll give it to you LT. Olympic Park is the venue listed on the stats.rleague.com site :thumbsup.

2. Correct LT  :sleep

Only question 8 to go. Two names. One so bleedingly obvious that you'll kick yourself when you see it.

I've had a look on the OER Draft List  ;) and Haydn Robins was drafted from Melb preseason '94. Played 4 games for Richmond and I don't recall any of them.  ;D Is he one of the two?
The obvious one has me stumped. The most obvious to me was Simmo.

Williams didn't play LT. We drafted him in an underhanded way when Melb dropped him off their list while he recovered from a knee reconstruction. He didn't want to go to Richmond and never played again.

Did Poyas go to Melb? I know they wouldn't draft him because Gutnik said they couldn't (butt out Joe), reason being he was jewish and Joe reckoned he shouldn't play on Saturdays.

Sorry one-eyed.  :-[ Butt out Fishfinger.  ;D

Edit: Woops, I see Poyas obviously did. Well done LT.  :whistle

No worries Fish.  I do remember seeing Williams play, but it must have been against the Tigers.  I can remember us drafting him though.
