Is this confirmed?

Someone on Y&B is pretty sure they saw him walking around at the end of season fundraiser tonight (not 100% certain though).

There's no reports in the papers about McGuane or the extent of his knee injury. Let's hope it's not an ACL or anything that serious but being about to walk on it doesn't mean necessarily means it's not an ACL as Cogs and Lenny Hayes found out.

If it was a ACL then his spot on the list would be in jeopardy given the timing a month from the end of the season and being out of contract. An full knee reco would wipe out most of 2007 as well.

Isnt there an unwritten law, maybe it is in place that clubs offer a player a min base contract if they do there knee.

I think it happened with Rodan and possibly now with McGuane.

Good opportunity for him to him the weights anyway.

That's true Bully. I don't know if it's a criteria in the AFLPA's bargaining agreement but we did do that with Rodan. Possibly with McGuane we might rookie list him which would give him 2 years to get his body right and the weight on.

According to another site it looks like only a relatively minor knee injury and not the full reco deal though
that is not confirmed...

Fingers crossed that's the case HB and it's not a ACL. McGuane's not listed in our injury list  ??? so maybe they are doing tests today to confirm what's wrong.

Luke McGuane didn't do his ACL

As mentioned on Club corner, McGuane came off with a bit of a knee injury but it's feeling better today and according to Paul Armstrong he's a chance of playing this week whereas O'Connor said he'll miss 2-3 weeks. Whatever it is McGaune hasn't done his ACL so thank gawd for that!
