Yep that's the reason Moi  although they changed their colours so they didn't have the same as Germany in WWI  . Prior and during WWI the colours on Germany's flag were red, white and black. The Saints changed the white to yellow so their colours matched those of British ally Belgium. After the war they changed it back to white.
