RFC WA Recruiting Office Appeal

According to my sources lol...which is basically from memory Punchlines in todays paper lol, we are looking at setting up a full time WA recruiting office. As usual our club cant seem to find the cash! So I appeal to all of us ... that OER in conjunction with others (dont know who they are yet) raise the necessary cash to establish a properly funded office. Now I cant say that I actually know how much a proper recruiting office would cost, but lets say $300,000 a year to cover office space and personnel and other bits and pieces. How can we raise $300,000 a year... well basically I urge the club to establish what I would call the

"Run & Carry Club" which can sorta be like a little coterie. 600 People wacking in $500 a year to raise the $300, for people who cant afford the one off $500 gig, then the club can do quarterly direct debits of $125 to make up the 500. If we could find a sponsor for the R&C Club then that could underwrite a significant portion of it...although I see it as difficult. The next difficulty would be to get people to commit for say 5 years of donation. Theres no point doing it if we pee off outta Perth after 12 months. Anyone reckon this could fly?

Seeing that there are players such as  Matthew Leuenberger( East Perth- Ruckman). Leroy Jetta ( South Fremantle- Midfielder) Clinton Benjamin(Claremont Forward -Utility) and Eric MacKenzie(Claremont key position ) Why wouldnt we have some sort of office or permanent structure in place. ;)

Good idea, Ramps, but as I'd like to contribute to such a scheme, I'm afraid I can't at that price.
Have to be a system whereby those who want to contribute can with what they can afford.

I know for alot of people $500 is alot of money, but we are Richmond, we have hundreds of thousands of supporters, surely we can get some decent cash together and hire afew people to do the business for us in Perth. As for Miller spending time in WA, he should be, theyre the state who produce more of the types of players will be looking for. Anyway I just put up a suggestion thats all.

Suggest that Ashley Prescott at Claremont would already have the office space.

Better to put the 300k into the travel & analysis for the recruiting, not office overheads.
