Never really a fan of his but you've got to feel for the guy when just after losing the leadership of the ALP, he gets told his younger brother has died.

Time was up for both of them.

Don't think Rudd is the answer, but he is better than Beazley.

Yep times are favourable for the incumbents. Just like with Bracks at state level.

Far out!!! The poor bugger can't take a trick today. I do think that Rudd and Gillard will put up more of a challenge to the libs's than Beazley and Puff Mummy or whatever her name is, ever could.

Rudd does tend to remind me of a ventriloquist doll. Maybe Julia has had her hand up his back during this whole campaign.
