Plough was interviewed after training by some journo. It might have been Emma Quayle from the Age but I'm only guessing.
* With the NAB Cup approaching we're doing mostly work on our structure. We probably weren't too flash today. The lifting of pressure and intensity was very good today but we need the skill level and decision making to rise with it.
* Browny is 100%. In his first year with us he had a full preseason. Then of course he didn't have one last year doing about 1 in 4 sessions. This year he's been able to do the full preseason and is right to go.
* Wallace is not going to comment on the new rules until he sees them in action and how the umps are judging decisions. The Club has received the CD from the umps and League with examples and they are applying them at training (in particular the new push in the back rule). They'll also study it when they do their video reviews etc.
* Said every club that finished outside the Eight says it wants to make the finals and every Club already in the Eight wants to stay there. 16 into 8 doesn't go. We're not into predictions but we have always said along the way they we are after improvement in our Improvement graph. Obviously number of wins and where you finish on the ladder is part of that but we use a number of key indicators to measure improvement. When half the teams will play finals you obviously aiming to make them and no one around here (points to the players) will be satisfied with less than that.
