Hurry back Simmo  :pray. Plough said Simmo and Browny are a chance next week but will be definitely right in a fortnight.

Polak was fairly good in the circumstances but Patto struggled big time in the first half. I still don't know what Patto saw instead of 3 free Swans out on the opposite wing  ??? lol.

Pretty amazing how many clearances we got against the Swans considering how much we got pumped in the hitouts.

Total hitouts: 18-51       Total clearances: 33-34
CB hitouts:  7-12           CB clearances:   8-13
BU hitouts:  4-22           BU clearances:   13-8
TI hitouts:   7-17           TI clearances:    12-8

CB = centre bounce
BU = ball up
TI = throw in

They said on the tv that Jolly/Everitt had around 5000 hitouts compared to Polak/Patto's 100+ (can't remember exact numbers but we were totally outdone).

No ruck relief for Tigers against 'Pies
Tuesday Apr 10 14:33 AEST
There is no immediate ruck respite for Richmond, who will be without their best two ruckmen for another AFL round.

Coach Terry Wallace said the Tigers did not want to rush Troy Simmonds back into the fray too quickly, which means he will likely miss Friday night's round three game against Collingwood at the MCG.

Simmonds underwent ankle surgery during the pre-season but has resumed full training.

Fellow big man Trent Knobel is also set to miss another game because of ankle troubles, as he will undergo an arthroscopy in the next two days.

The Tigers badly missed a strong ruck option in Saturday's loss to Sydney, where Peter Everitt and Darren Jolly dominated the hit outs.

Forward Nathan Brown also faces another week at least on the sidelines as he continues to recover from soreness in the leg he broke two years ago.
