In 2025 there will be only one OER Footy Tipping Competition and that's our OER Tipping Comp
We have made this change as we want to see the competition winner to be an OERite. What we've noticed the last couple of seasons is that people who don't contribute to the forum are playing the Footytips.com.au only. We don't see that as fair to those who are loyal to this site
Just another thing and this is relation to the winning prize. Folks may not be aware but during 2024 the Club out-sourced to a new 3PL to run the Store, an international company called Fanatics International. As a result of this change gift vouchers are no longer available. So the prize will now paid via bank transfer

As we have had joint winners in the past for some of the comps we have again planned ahead for this scenario. So this is how the prizes will work if there is a tie
1st prize for the One-Eyed tipping comp will be a $100 paid by bank transfer for a single winner. But if it happens to be 2 way tie the prize pool will be $150 (2 x $75 ea), 3 way tie $210 (3 x $70)
If there's more than 3 winners .... this will apply
Here's the details

1/ OER tipping comp
Prize: $100 paid via bank transfer
Each week pick the winner and margin for the Tigers game plus another match of your own choosing.
For each match each week:
* if you tip the winner and are within or at 10 points either side of the margin you get 2 points.
* Get one or the other get 1 point.
* -1 if you get both wrong.
* Your overall total can never fall below 0.
* Bonus 5 pts if you predict the correct margin and winner.
