13.7 to 6.2 after half-time. Unforgiveable to lose tonight the way we did. Started lairising in the second quarter and tried to coast minimum effort to a win and got burnt. Mentally soft and lazy.

Leave Richo alone!  What about picking on some other players who are doing stuff all?

Sorry Julz, but this exact attitude is the whole problem, no one is allowed to say anything about Richo because all the other players are just as bad so his inadequacies become camoflagued and over looked. HE IS THE MOST DESTRUCTIVE PLAYER WE HAVE IN OUR SIDE AND IT HAS BEEN THAT WAY FOR YEARS AND JUST ABOUT EVERY COMMENTATOR IN THE GAME ACTUALLY KNOWS THIS TO BE TRUE BUT ALLOW THE STATUS QUE TO CONTINUE. The reason it isn't made a big issue is that most commentators, about 99% of them like the fact that the richmond faithful think that Richo is a god and that there is no way we would or our administration would have the guts to off load the liability that he is, and he is a dead set liability. There is no doubt that we have other deficiencies but none bigger than him. He throws our whole forward structure into disarry, he can't play under real pressure, he can't kick under real pressure with any sort of consistency. I could go on and on, we will not win a premiership with him in our side full stop. At the end of the year he should be gotten rid of (NICELY) WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO LOSE.

julz im really sorry but richo has been playing for over a decade and still has not grown up
in the second q he sooked cos he felt he deserved a free and then he sulked and let presti take control
he needs to get mentally tougher and not miss goals as he does

if he kicked str8 in the first q the game would have been different

Richo is not the only person out there kicking goals.  Sure we've become too Richo conscious.  But guys like Schultz and Pettifer also need to step up.  And where are the crumbers?  If we had won and Richo had kicked his 700th you'd all be praising him to the rafters.  But we didn't and he didn't kick well and now you're all calling for his head.  And no point on dwelling on the hypothetical - oh we should have got rid of years ago.  Well we didn't - so live with it!

I'm starting to agree with Jack.  No more outragious statements in the media this week please Terry.  Just shut up - head down and let the football do the talking.

To quote Mark Robinson from the HUN:  "Richo was all over the shop – he kicked 3.4 and one out of bounds – and had twice as many again kicked on top of his head. No wonder he goes insane for two hours a week."

Just been reading the other Richmond forums and they aren't crucifying Richo as much as you guys are.  Anyway, it's not so much the physical aspect of kicking goals with Richo - it's the mental side.  Where's Wayne Campbell when you need him?  He always used to have a quiet word in Richo's ear - settle him down.  Of course, it's Richo's fault that the midfielders constantly kick the ball to him, and it's Richo's fault that the other forwards don't present or demand the ball like he does and it's Richo's fault that the crumbers aren't getting the spills.  The guy has only kicked 698 goals for the club and half of you want to boot him out the door like Frawley did with Knights.  Well shame on you!!!!  And to quote some of you from previous weeks - maybe you should look at supporting another club.  Get over yourselves!!!!!

Well said Julz, its so easy to pick out Richo and heap most of the criticism on him. They should all hang their their heads, where are our crumbers? Why are Richo and Shultz competing for the same ball? I wont even start on Gaspar and Capt Jane! Richo puts himself in your face, he is larger than life and much more animated which makes his mistakes very plain to see, plus they kick it to him whether he's got the whole opposition team on him or not even when there are options! Sadly I think that is why we play better when he is not on, it makes them search for options, not just unload to him and hope for the best
