Any interest in Eagle ruckman Mark Seaby?

CONTRACT negotiations between West Coast and ruckman Mark Seaby have stalled, with dealings not expected to be revived until later in the season.

Richmond, Carlton and St Kilda are all seeking athletic and durable big men and would be in a position to offer the 200-centimetre Seaby a lucrative package, should he fail to reach an agreement with the Eagles.

Seaby's manager, Wayne Loxley, and Woodhouse met on Thursday, when it was decided to put discussions on hold.

Seaby is regarded as a priority signing by West Coast because of its lack of quality big men aside from him and dual All-Australian ruckman Dean Cox. The 23-year-old was a strong contributor in the first two games of the season when Cox was out because of a thigh strain, averaging 13 possessions, four marks and 23.5 hitouts.

I would prefer Seaby to Charman - just my opinion.

Life goes on
