* A win a long time coming. We want to back it up tonight. We've had good performances since the Geelong game so good to finally crack a win. Browny a big factor. A great relief. Winning gives self-belief. We've still got things to prove. Get games into the youngsters. Still need mature bodies around them though. Good to see what Lids, Tambo, Foley, Jacko can do with senior boys around them.

* Good to have Simmo back. Young Patto has had to do the ruck basically by himself all year. Still miss Cogs but every side has players out.

* Won't just play the kids. They still have to earn their spot back at VFL level such as Edwards has done this week. If it's a line ball decision then the kid will get the nod.

* Polak - it'd be frustrating for Freo to see him now. He's always had the talent. We've given him the support and gametime to develop and he's taken his chance and getting the most out of himself at the moment.

* Rawlings working with Richo. Kicking is a lot smoother now. Not saying Richo is now a great set shot as he kicked 3.6 last week but as long as you're having 9 shots at goal then you can't complain and the days will come when he kicks a bag.
