NO IDEA!!

Sorry.......but GTF Out of her man!!!

I enjoyed 9s coverage of what I will loosely term as a, "minor incident",
in particular his tribal, sorry, feeble attempt at playing the culture card by
lowering an aboriginal built canoe into the Yarra, only to hear him say
he best get out as it was sinking.

All this,a part of his asking the Gods to protect him from,as far as i could see,the white mans law.

He then merrily maboed his way to the courts dressed as he appears in the photo, complete with her majesty's bar code and membership number adorned upon his upper chest

It was adjourned

=====================================

ecember 19, 2007 02:02pm AN Aboriginal man is fighting driving charges saying the police and the courts do not have jurisdiction over him.

Mr Atkinson was charged with driving while disqualified, driving an unregistered car and exceeding the alcohol limit after being pulled over in Belmont on October 25, last year.

Mr Atkinson said his decision to contest the case was a form of protest, despite a warning by the magistrate that he faced an uphill battle.
Outside court he said he did not believe they had the jurisdiction to charge him.
"It is to highlight the plight of the stolen generation people who still suffer," Mr Atkinson said.
"I don't believe they have the jurisdiction to adjudicate Aboriginal people under law."
Mr Atkinson said as a member of the stolen generation himself he continued to suffer.

"The law maker and the law protector, being the Australian Government and the police, aid and abet together to incarcerate members of the stolen generation.
"I have always been discriminated against."

It's idiots like this guy that make it bad for indigenous Aussies. Would he have said the same thing if he had killed someone in another car or a pedestrian while driving drunk  ::). It wasn't even his first offence as he was driving while disqualified.
