Bulldogs' Brian Harris changes his name

WESTERN Bulldogs player Brian Harris has formally changed his name to Brian Lake.
He switched from his mother’s maiden name to his father’s family name on the birth of new son Cohen Ashton Lake on December 23 in order to maintain the family name of Lake.
"At the time it seemed a simple thing to do but you forget how much paperwork is involved," he told the club website.
"I wanted my son to have my name so it was straightforward in that respect."
Although he will be known as Brian Lake, for historical purposes the club will list list him as Brian Lake (Harris).
