3aw asking if you like Richmond's low-key approach?
« on: February 12, 2008, 07:20:50 PM »
Russell and Healy on 3aw now asking if Tiger fans like Richmond's low-key approach? Russell said he liked it.

They're also asking out of us, Carlton and Essendon who will finish higher? Russell said Carlton.

Dwayne Russell said if Terry can get us from last to in the Eight then he'll be coach of the year.

A supporter rang up saying he was at the centenary photo function and we've got a full list except for Cotchin and Cotchin is 4 weeks away ???. He said Simmo told him we just want results to prove people wrong.

Love it nothing more frustrating  than listening to someone senior whether on or off field blowing their trumpet on we'll do this and we'll do that and this is going to happen or say something like we'll leave no stone unturned in our quest for............ which is merely a feeble facade to what will actually take place yet has sucked us all in at some point in time in the past.

At least now nobody is talking they are giving us the perception of they are going allow their footy to do the talking and hence that is all they are thinking about rather than lining up to take interviews from tv or radio. Its not about media savvy and personas its about footy. You are footy players footy coaches not entertainment weekly columnists or celebrity gossips. Lets keep it that way. Very happy with the low key approach. Arrogance and statements can come once long term results have been consistently achieved. Remember Schwabby's outlandish 2004 pre season remark :lol :rollin :lol

I take zero notice of anything that dweeb says about Richmond. He is an eternal Richmond hater and his opinion counts for zip. Crap commentator too.

You know poor Sugar is going to cop a loud cheer with his first kick against Carlton when it heads in the right direction.

It'll be a defensive short pass from the middle to CHB or the HBF.  :rollin

he is the one who has to change this team around.
while he is captain he has to lead the youngsters by example and that doesnt include kicking it to opposition team
Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.
