The AFL Record for the NAB Cup is out now in local Newsagents ($7) but the season preview booklet that use to come with it will be sold separately later this month (released Feb 28).
The Record is mostly a dreamteam analysis rag this year with stats and opinions on who's good value or not (average points per game versus cost) at each club. It goes through every player in the league.
Simmo was named the best valued (or hot shot) Tiger given he's back after missing so much footy last year. Bowden is considered the safest option for a dreamteam.
Best in 2007:
Bowden 95 points (average per game)
Richo 86
Tuck 86
Pettifer 81
Foley 81
Best Buys:
Rainsey, Cotchin (not after the yesterday's news), Simmo and Polak.
