Miller on SEN with KB from 10-11am

* Good to be on after a win for a change but we've moved on to the Dogs game.

* KB asked if there would be anymore tricks - Richo on the wing?
Miller said they aren't tricks. In any case the difference was more use of the footy. We were poor against the Pies and good against Freo and we want the Freo form to continue.

* Don't know if Brad Johnson will play. Bonus if he doesn't.

* Caller asked about Richmond and Carlton requesting ANZAC Day. Miller not concerned about ANZAC Day as we have the Dreamtime game with Essendon.

* Meyer - Suffered from a hip problem over the past 12 months. He's had a minor hip operation. 2-3 weeks away.

* Cogs - Pulled up sore at Wed? training. He played 3 practice matches preseason but hasn't played since. Hammy a by-product of the knee.

* Miller is against free agency. Believe in 2-3 years time people will be screaming about the rich get richer. Greg likes the uniqueness of the socialist system in the AFL. Believes though there will be a limited version of free agency.

* Polo - Coming back from a shoulder reco. Taken time to come back. Only a few weeks away from playing Richmond seniors.

* Bowden - Caller rang up saying Joel should play FF. Greg was keen on the idea. Greg also said if we continue to play like against Freo then it's going to be hard for Joel to get back in for the next few weeks.

* Greg is against the send-off rule because mistakes can be made.

* Against a Tassie team too. AFL got it right heading into the Gold Coast and Western Sydney.

* Petts - Previous 2 years were very good. However form wasn't up to standard before the suspension this year. Morton and Edwards play a similar role and performed well so Petts is coming back via Coburg.

* Mentioned briefly about Jack's club owning a horse which he is involved.

* Cotchin - played 40 mins for Coburg ressies last week. Will play Coburg seniors tomorrow.

* Gourdis - Fastest player at Richmond. Faster than Lids even. Came to us as a forward but trying him out in the backline. An education process for him. Did well last week.

* Putt - Greg is expecting big things from Dean in a few years time.

* Rance - Greg didn't say much about Alex. Just that he played Coburg seniors last week and his dad Murray was down watching.

* Caller asked about Carl Peterson - delisted because he couldn't settle in Melbourne life. He played in the NT Grand Final for St Marys.

* Barry Hall suspension about right as we play them in 6 weeks. He remembers when at North, McFarlane getting whacked by Hall. It finished McFarlane's career.

A little bit more...

* Players can build up credits over time on their behaviour. For instance Sugar could have escaped suspension if he didn't impose it himself.

* Greg's tips - Saints, Cats, Crows, Hawks, Roos, Carl, definitely Tigers, Eagles.

* Game at the Dome not MCG. Herald-Sun wrong.

i would'e asked him how long he intends to stay at punt road because supporters are getting tired of his spin.

i dont rate this guy at all hope he departs by season's end

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

Interesting. He played against the Roos didn't he. Are we saying we played him too early?

Regarding Myer, Cogs etc I have become a bit of a pessimist now days in terms of long term injuries and returns. (1)It always seems to take longer than expected,(2) the player very rarely return to the form they displayed previous to the accident and (3) they never seem too meet form expectations.

Browny has taught me a sad lesson unfortunately and I have lost hope of him ever returning to the form he had at the start of the 2005 season :(.

I doubt whether Meyer will ever play a full season and it is increasingly unlikely that Cogs will even capture the fitness, form and, most importantly, speed to compete at AFL level

I hope I'm wrong with all three but as I said earlier I am now a pessimist with long term injuries  :'(

Yeh,like that was ever gonna happen.

When he snapped his leg he snapped some heart strings too.

Did u actually think he would be the same player?

Just another curse bestowed upon the rfc.

Testing out his shoulder and subsequently his tackling? I didn't think his negating jobs on Harvey and Grant when he was on them were too bad.
