Rainesy on SEN
« on: April 27, 2008, 04:33:04 PM »
* Rainesy said he's a couple of weeks away. Just trying to strengthen the knee up at the moment. He won't be rushing back and will come back through the reserves.

* Our improvement is a combination of things - structure related, a bit of youth, and confidence within the team. Hawthorn will be the real test.

* Attitude has been the same throughout but it is now showing on the field so to an outsider there looks to be a rise in intensity and a better attitude.

* Brereton said there was a momental difference in that Freo game. What one thing did you and Terry focussed on?
Rainesy said pressure skills. Chasing and harrassing especially in our forward line. Gets everyone going. If you get a turnover with those chasing skills it frees up players to use their skills. Our skills aren't that bad. It was just we were always under pressure but we weren't putting pressure on the opposition.

* Joel has organised a teaching session in the coaches box with Rainesy and some of the younger guys not playing.
