Good to see archibald back in the coburg team instead of the reserves. Hopefully one of you guys that watch it on tv can give us quarter by quarter updates and then a match analysis on all the richmond listed players for us who dont live in victoria.

We are all buds here so please  ;D

Also whats the weather like there today?

3/4 Time:

Coburg  4.4  4.5  5.5-35
Werribee 3.2 6.6 9.9-63

After quarter time this would have to be the worst Coburg performance I've ever seen since they affiliated with Richmond. The best way to describe it would be say it's all too "Richmond-like"  :-\. We have no system but that's mainly to us overpossessing and making every mistake in the book. 9 time out fo ten 10 we fail to hit a teammate on the full by either hand or foot. Add to that like Richmond, Coburg are undersized especially down back. Based on today God knows how Coburg has 11 wins.

The conditions were breezy but apart from that it's a sunny day and the ground is in good nick. Werribee aren't finding the conditions at all difficult.

As for the Richmond players:

Tuck, Raines and Foley were impressive yet again.
Morrison - presented well and was clean for a big man below his knees but failed to take a contested mark and struggled to make the distance to goal.
Fiora - a dud in the VFL let alone the AFL.
Houlihan, Fletcher - see Fiora.
Pettifer didn't do much.
Dragga didn't have any influence either.
Archibald, Roach (looks like he just copped an injury to his knee), Gilmour were quiet. Don;t know why Gilmour was playing what looked like FF for most of the game  ???.
Moore took some nice grabs but that was about it.

Margin now out to 53 points which is a truer reflection of the "contest" (using that term loosely).

I gave up hope in the second qtr when Peter Street and Steven Koops were being made look like superstars.

Fiona is a joke.  :banghead
My parents bought me a Richmond jumper and enrolled me in a junior footy clinic in 1981...look at me now.

From the Herald Sun

Coburg coach David Flood has concerns going into the finals with successive losses to the Bendigo Bombers and Werribee.

The Tigers could manage only two goals in the final three quarters of yesterday's game despite impressive form from Andrew Raines (25 touches), Aaron Fiora (17) and Adam Houlihan (16).

Richmond list player Kelvin Moore also showed improved form after he was dropped back for game time.

The four Tigers will be available for the finals campaign

25 touches and a goal to raines that would ahve to be a debut game wouldnt it. He has been pretty consistant

Good to see archibald back in the coburg team instead of the reserves.

There is a reason Archibald has been playing the reserves Wrenny - he has just started playing. We are lucky he has played any footy this year with his bout of OP being so bad.

Rightly, he has played a few games in the Coburg reserves and Saturday was his first game for the seniors.

Played off the bench and when he did come on he played down back. Moves very well for a kid of his size. For the amount of game time he did OK. Looking forward to seeing him have a full pre-season.

So true Gibby especially about Street - the worst player in the AFL by a ..er... street  :P ::)

Fiona is a joke.  :banghead

I cringed everytime he went near the ball - he looked so out of form and lost it was sad. I think it is in Aaron's and the RFC's best interest for him to be traded. If he goes to another club and wins a B&F or something good luck to him but it aint gonna happen at the Tigers I'm afraid.

I felt really sorry for Shane Morrison - no support in the forward line and usually had 2-3 sometimes 4 opponents - perhaps he and Richo should have a latte and a chat about it :-\
