Summary

* Played a clip of Bomber Thompson saying all our KPIs (like contested footy) have improved over the last month so he's expecting no easy game at all.

* 2 weeks due to the break so everyone does their homework so hard to fly under the radar.

* Our KPIs say we're travelling better than our ladder position - No.1 contested footy, No. 4 in uncontested footy. Some inexperience and lack of foot disposal has hurt us in the close games.

* Cotchin - decided not to play him this week. We're playing against bigger bodies plus the wet weather. He did no preseason up until round 1. He's had 4 weeks of games so not far away.

* Polak felt sore against the Saints so pulled out. Gave him a run around in the VFL last week instead. He's been in our main side for most of the year,

* Bench rules - trial run this week so we are up to speed. Up to the Roos game Plough was still involved in the interchanges which was affecting his coaching. Gave the players more control and  passed the bench changes over to the strength and conditioning guys and Brian Royal. Our form coincidently has lifted since then too.

* Expecting Scarlett to take on one of our two key forwards - Polak or Riewoldt

* Scarlett is as good as anyone he's seen but Plough said he goes for players who have finished their career. SOS, Langford and special mention for Kelvin Moore the Hawk version.

Good first game for him. Big BIG crowd, good chance of a win. Would be quite an experience for a young cub. Great fun.
