Crunch Ball Game this week ?
« on: June 08, 2008, 10:06:24 PM »
Interesting if Terry ""Snake Oil Salesman ""Wallet will  produce the old crunch ball game this week..
The ball that is signed by every player before the start of the season and they all give an oath that the game isnt to be lost when produced. ( not that having McMahon, Schulz, Pettifer signing a ball would make a big difference I might add, they might struggle to sign and spell there own names ) lol
The players wouldnt know which game it would be and is usually displayed before the entire team at the team meeting before the game.
Has seen a few of these deflated and thrown in the bin at half time when the team were getting slaughtered.
Would think that the ""snake oil salesman"" will try and pull a rabbit out of the hat this week as he knows whats around the corner, a loss this week and the end is near.

Losing provides two incentives.
a) We lose or tank and it provides us a necessary priority pick
b) One more loss that brings us closer to Terry being shown the door.

Need to lose for the good of the club and the health of our long term list.

Lol why would Tezza call a crunch game when I have never heard of a "crunch game" we've won, it's absolute crap.

THe oath is poo, no game of 22 worth 4 points should be more important to win than any other.

Ha ha ha crunch game against Melbourne. We never win crunch games when they mean something so I hope the trend continues this Sunday. Tank tank tank.
Wonder which team Terry will have this week playing for us.
The kids in Morton Connors Riewoldt Polo and co that may save his job and keep him from the back pages as it did in Round 4 or the dependable failures in Pettifer Tivendale Hyde Bowden Howat. Either way Terry should go at the end of the season. Club is going nowhere with him we are lost in purgatory.

I will not be backing us againt the Dee's this week I think we will lose this too as we have no direction to go. I don't care if others don't like that I have put this down but we are playing football that wont even win a game in the country league's. Thats how inspirered I am by the way we are playing. Terry should stand down and see if someone else can make the difference. As if we keep going like this we have no hope. And I was one that we in favour of Terry as our coach.
