Going to tell you all l'm shattered but the team made us all proud today
To Billy & Jean, the family we support you & give our heartfelt condolences at this sad time
being a Yinnar boy like Peter & running around the family hareware in the early days which they owned in main street Yinnar & young Peter went off to play VFL fooball for Hawthorn in the 70's which he later went onto the Richmond football club.
l wont go into what Peter done for the Richmond football club because every Richmond supporter knows but he really loved it.
What l do want to say is Peter never forgot where he came from at Yinnar FC & frequently went back to the club to support them & was a great football ambassadoor to local footabll & to pass away so young is shattering
Peter my friend its been a great journey, you helped me through some very tough times in life & your advise helped me to be a good footballer & too be the person l partly am today l thankyou very much for you wise words, but more importantly we both fighting the same path in life & l hopefully can help others like you helped me.
God this is so hard to write tonight after talking to my friend on the phone, l lied to him why you passed away but l had too because l didnot want him to feel sorry for me because we had hope.
Peter God Bless you mate for you will come home, we will bury you on the hill watching over us all, l will continue the fight.
