Caro was on 3aw tonight:
Caro repeated that the problems with the club existed before Terry arrived and that the problem isn't Terry. Wallace is a very good matchday coach. Some coaches may have fixed the problems faster but he's brought stability to the club and is slowly turning things around. She said she hopes he continues after next year.
Healy said Wallace bringing in Simmo and Browny [ed. wrong - Browny arrived a year earlier] and not making the cuts earlier like Hawthorn contributed to last year. Caro said with the age gap even if Terry had made the cuts earlier success within 4 years was unlikely and Wallace has said last night that, like Carlton, Richmond in the past didn't understand the draft and that even he didn't initially.
Caro's expectations for Saturday - Richmond need to win. It's a winnable game. Thursty will be back fo Fev. Club hoping for a minimum of 80k which will be a big crowd. They got 72k to round 1.
* Reckons the Tigers may have turned the corner after the Port win. She would hate to think she wears the club colours although she knows more about Richmond. Thinks she is more unbiased now.
* It should be a line in the sand game. Don't think it'll be firey (like Haw vs Ess in 2004) but it'll be hard and tough.
* She's tipping us to win.
