Yeah, friends who live in different states catching up. Unbelievable to think that would happen. Must be something underhanded to it.   ;D :sleep

So not only has he been out of football for a decade, the guys he's going to for advice are all ex-teammates who were all part of us being crap. How about asking people who know about success for Geez sake.

I like this appointment less and less every day. Could be the worst appointment to this club in more than a decade.

Thanks for the transcript, Moi.  :)
Glad you typed slowly because I can't read fast.
Was there another interview or more to that one?

I turned off after I listened to a couple of calls.
I was at work so couldn't listen to the program much.
So not sure if he was on later - doubt it.
Maher wasn't too impressed - either was I.
He sounded out of his depth a little.
Give him the benefit of doubt that he may have been a tad nervous

Very interesting Tony Free, Says that he hasnt gone to any any individual to fulfill a position at Punt Road.
Love to know what you were doing with Craig Lambert over the weekend.then ?  ;) ;) ;)
Dont tell me, you were talking about your Juice Bar::  lol ::)

Maybe spending "time with people I know in footy, and those are the sorts of people, obviously, I’d go to.  They’re former team mates.  I respect them. And I’m sure you’d do the same thing.  If you entered into a new role you’d be going to people that you trust and admire and chatting it through."

That pretty much covers it.   ;)

You say so now. But I dont recall you kicking up a fuss when Free was announced as a director.

I hope you are joking, I've been one of the most anti-Free posters on all the RFC forums
I even started posting on OER again when free was announced as a director because I thought it was a crap decision

Perhaps I should change my log on name to "anti-freeze"

His appointment to the board was tokenism as its finest

Freezer came across in the interview as someone still on L plates. Why put someone on the board if they have to ask around what they need to do  :-\. Didn't we learn anything from Frawley and Casey about employeeing people in crucial positions at the club who admitted afterwards they struggled because they were learning on the job as they went  :help.

Well you know how it works. It's club speak for we haven't officially put forward an offer to any individual to fulfill a position at Punt Road. It doesn't mean they aren't sounding out people the club is interested in and who they think may be interested in taking up the offer. Wasn't the leak meant to have come from someone who knew they had gone a headhunting behind Miller's back.
