Given we were unable to trade for an experienced ruckman, do you think we will now promote Cartledge to the senior list as back up for Simmo?
Cartledge can't be kept on as a rookie as he is too old.

I would think its unlikely.
They were talking about ruckmen today saying that the tall lumbering type may fade out of the game if 4 boundary umpires come in.
I would think Carts fits into this category.

That's true TFL whereas the 4 boundary umpires would suit a strength of Patto's which is his endurance and ability to outrun the lugs and spread to the wings. Patto just needs to learn to ruck
