An easy one for a Friday lol. Rate Cotchin's year?

After his AFL debut had to wait until round 9 against Geelong , Cotchin in his first year averaged 16 disposals (17th best Tiger), 5 marks, 2 tackles and kicked a total of 9 goals 5 behinds.

Rioli was great today but Cotchin is the best kid out of the 2007 draft. Scary what Cotch could become in the next few years. Looking forward to next year when Cotch (barring injury touchwood) will have a full preseason behind him and able to run out and influence full games.

Considering the lack of pre seaon due to injury, He was awsome.  Seems to make something happen evertime he touches the ball.  Other teams should be scared to see what he can produce in a few years.

8.5/10

A gem. Scary to think how good he is going to be. Looking forward to him having a full pre-season and seeing what he does in his 2nd year

point blank the most exciting genuine mid field talent to emerge since m knights. We are very lucky.

Note - how young the lad is.
 - Born in 90s
 - 4 months younger than Gourdis.

I know the 'he had no pre-season' thing has been done to death, but he does look similar to Judd and J Selwood in the way he can massive roles in games from the get go.

I remember one game the boy came off bench in the 3rd quarter (I think), have 12 odd touches of the very highest class in very little time.

If Cooney is winning Brownlows @ 22/23 yoa I reckon its pretty safe Cotchin will be GAblett/Judd/Hodge class.

I hope to God Lids and Cotch play 44 H&A games next season.

The Adelaide game at the 'G where he tore it up and set up about 4 goals in the first quarter before tiring after half-time was simply frightening at how good he will be when he gets his match fitness up to scratch with a full preseason behind him.

Next year when they have the later cut-off on age, kids Cotch's draft age will have to wait another year before being eligible for the draft. Stupid if the kid is gun and ready-made for AFL like Cotch is.
