Whitey was another young Tiger who didn't start the year in the seniors. He came into the side in round 3 against Collingwood and played all remaining 20 games.

Matty White is the type of player RFC should be persisting with rather than giving the likes of the Jake King further 2 year deals.

8.1/10
Love the dash and daring.  Does much better than Tambo who keeps getting caught with the ball. Like to see him in the centre some getting fed by Axel/Cotch throw in Lids and we have the makings of a great spine.

Breakout year. 9/10 for me.

breaks the lines and is in the Axel mould.

He is exactly what we need and exactly what we should do everything in our power to keep.
Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

Had a very good year.  8/10.

He's learning how to use his speed more effectively, I remember in years gone by he went flat chat all the time and this caused him to run himself into trouble.  Now he is learning to ease of the gas a bit in order to dispose of the ball, but still using the lightning speed when needed.  Didn't get caught with the pill as much and had more of it :thumbsup

Super year from a quality kid....

Confidence is a wonderful thing  :clapping

Showed he will be along term player for us

For me one of his biggest assets is his defensive pressure - sensational

8/10

Let's all hope that the good people at Coburg don't get to see Whitey in the Blue and Red for many years to come eh Bill.
