Brad Gwilliam...thought he was going to be full back of the century.

It was North Ballarat as a ruckman. There was a rumour going around last year that he might end up in Gippsland but I don't know what happened.

Thanks Wayne and MT, i was actually more thinking of his demise at richmond. first year got 20 odd ? games and a few goals. Next season 2-3 games, then 1 game then gone.  did he burn out after 1 season?

What was the name of that aboriginal bloke who kicked 5 goals in a game and then got de-listed at the end of the season?

Marty McGrath

Jurica was drafted with pick 26 in 1993 - a pick we got in return for trading Jeff Hogg from memory. Yep he debuted in R11 1995 (Richo had just done his knee at the SCG thanks to that bloody fence  :banghead ) and played 13 games straight kicking 21 goals.  However all year we were really trying to find someone to cement a spot at FF and both Jurica and Stuart Edwards were tried there but both were frustratingly inconsistent  :-\. Jurica kicked 5 against the Bombers (drawn game) and 4 each against the Blues and Pies but he was just a mark and kick forward and he went missing too often in other games. He was dropped after the QF against North. Jurica then played just 5 games in the next 2 years under Walls and then got the flick by Geisch at the end of 1997 at age 21.

The younger pickers was stuffed by injuries (bad quads from memory) although his brother Michael was the better footballer though.
