KEVIN Bartlett might be short, but his memory is incredibly long.
The Richmond legend showed yesterday all was not forgiven with the man who played a key role in his sacking as Tigers coach in 1991.
Bartlett refused to sit in SEN's MCG radio box at the same time as new Melbourne chief executive Cameron Schwab.
Much to the surprise of Bartlett's co-commentators Grant Thomas and Anthony Hudson, the former Tiger left the box for 10 minutes while
Schwab was interviewed before yesterday's match against North Melbourne.
Schwab was Richmond's chief executive when Bartlett was sacked.
Bartlett yesterday said: ``I went for a cup of tea. There were too many in the box.''
Bartlett vowed in 1992 not return to the club while any member of the current board of management or Schwab were still in office at the club.
"That means it could be 10 years, 20 years or even 30 years . . . I am a patient man,'' Bartlett said at the time.
Bartlett finally broke his self-imposed exile from Punt Rd in 2007 when he attend his first official Richmond function since being sacked.
He received a standing ovation at the club's Tommy Hafey Club luncheon at the Grand Hyatt.
