RAWLINGS DILEMA
« on: April 23, 2009, 01:46:13 AM »
44  Ricmond players face the Ricmond/Coburg match comittees this week with Cousins and Raines sure to return in the 1's for Coburg this week and Cotchin 50/50 to play a half in the 2's Jade Rawlings will have to fit 21 AFL listed players into his 2 Coburg sides and although the 12/10 rule does'nt apply this week they will be reluctant to play more then 15 Richmond players in the 1's leaving a possible 6 AFL players in th 2's, may give an insight into where some players are in the pecking order, word a ABD last week had Gourdis (good in the 1's) in front of Hughes and Polak ( both ok in the 2's) as a Richmond forward option ( although not available till round 11 interesting to see if he holds his spot) Putt was very good in the 2's last week as was Vickery in the 1's, Browne didnt do a lot in the 1's and does'nt have the ball handling skills of the other two, good tussle, who else will play 2's will be very interesting.

Why is Putt still in the 2s. The boy is a forward not a ruckman, put him Coburg 1s and ask him to make Full Forward his own spot.

Problem is for Putt, Hughes, Shultz, Gourdis, Polak and Patto all playing as forwards and Vickery, Patto and Browne as rucks very hard to place all the talls in one side, Putty has actually been playing on a wing and ruck in the 2's

thats ususally to teach a fella to be a little more involved in the game..than catching a cold wating for a kick in the goal sq
