This isn't going to happen as we couldn't afford it but if Mal Michael left Brissy after his outburst about his teammates and went into the PSD and we got Mooney (via Otto) and Simmonds in trades, our spine would be next year:

Michael
Mooney
Simmonds
Richo
Schulz

with Stafford as a spare ruck/forward and Gas as a spare backman.

Would anyone be tempted to go for it?

Happy to go for Michael but i will spew if we get Mooney.

He is a dud and half of the reason the cats lost to brisbane.

I'd rather we stay with youth, take our medicine for a couple of years down the bottom of the ladder and then consider players of that ilk. We really are in no position to capitalise by taking these players right now.
