RICHMOND has been forced to make three changes from the team that beat Fremantle at Subiaco last weekend for Friday night's clash with the Western Bulldogs.
Speedster Matthew White tore a hamstring during the Fremantle match, while Nathan Brown (groin) and Robbie Nahas (corked quad) will miss as well.
Back into the side after stints of varying lengths at Coburg in the VFL are 2003 best-and-fairest winner Mark Coughlan, Alex Rance and Jordan McMahon.
Football manager Ross Monaghan confirmed that all changes were forced.
"We've got three injuries – Matthew White's hammy's no good, so he won't be available until after the bye, I'd think," he said.
"Nathan Brown has a re-occurrence of the groin problem he's been battling with for a good part of the season – it just flared up a little bit, and give the fact that it's a short break this week, we just couldn't get him up for this game, unfortunately.
"We'll have a look at it early next week - if the game was Sunday he probably would have been touch and go, but he just couldn't come up for a Friday night game.
"And also Robbie Nahas – he copped a corkie in his quad in last week's game and he's battled with it this week. Again, he'd probably have been OK if we were playing Sunday."
Replacing them are players who've being doing well in the VFL.
"Alex Rance comes back in after going back to Coburg last week – they had a really good win and they had lots of contributors, so there were a significant number of guys who put up their hand for selection,” he said.
"Alex was chosen out of those, as was Jordie McMahon – he had a really good game last week at Coburg and gave them plenty of run, as we know Jordie can.
"And the third one is Mark Coughlan, back in after a week at Coburg, and Cogs, as we know, will always give you a good contest.
"He got his hands on it a lot, as he always does, so it's a good opportunity for him."

Or are they just giving Jordan a final game with Terry's final game.
