RICHMOND assistant coach David King says his side needs to win this weekend to avoid throwing away the good work of the last couple of weeks.
The Tigers haven't lost in the last fortnight, with a win over Essendon and a draw with North Melbourne.
The Tigers face the Demons this weekend, after losing to them in round four this year.
King said successive wins had been non-existent this year at Tigerland, something they would look to address on Sunday.
"There hasn't been wins here for a while, full stop," he said before training at Victoria Park. "It is important that we go on with it now, just continue to do what we do and build this young group.
"The maturity they've shown in the last couple of weeks has been impressive, and no doubt, when the stars perform it makes it easier as a club."
King said it Jack Riewoldt was able to benefit from good service and supply provided by Trent Cotchin, Brett Deledio and Ben Cousins last week, something he is looking forward to seeing repeated this weekend.
"You can't just deliver that once every three weeks, you have to do it on a consistent basis, and that's what we're looking forward to."
