Why didn't they mention last year's winner - Matt White?
They did

Quote
In a race to determine the AFL’s fastest man, Athletics Australia will again host the halftime event, taken out last year by Richmond’s Matthew White.

Did Rance get through the heat?

Garry Lyon said Naitanui did his hammy 70m into the heat.

Rance came sixth by about 5m behind the winners. Stanley from St Kilda won it from the GC17 kid McKenzie and Wade Thompson from Port.

Did idiot even end up finishing last behind Pyke who slipped over at the start?

Rancey did well I thought. I didn't expect him to make the final to be honest compared to who he was running against.

I wonder if clubs will put their high profile players in the GF sprint from now on after NickNat did his hammy apparently.

Gee Rhys Stanley could become a handful in the future. A very fast big man, though I have yet to see him play.  But generally good mobile big men are hard to find.  Anybody seen him play yet?

true.  rance went off to a great start in the race.  which is good to see.  esp as a defender.
