GC17 using Nathan as bait to get his brother?

Hinkley as their new assistant coach is apparently a key to this as well.

We'll see how loyal he is when the cheque book is thrown at him. After all he's won the Brownlow and two flags and the Cats Premiership window you wiuld think will be closing next year or the year after the lastest.

Geelong's salary cap is stretched to the brink as well and Gary jnr hasn't yet re-signed.

NATHAN Ablett yesterday signed with Gold Coast and said he would love to be reunited with his brother Gary at the new club in 2011.

Looks like Gold Cast will move heaven and earth to get Gary to sign.
May cause some destabilation in the tight Geelong group next year if the club don't sign him early. I hope its the beginning of the end on field for the Cats. You've had your three years in the limelight move on and get back to being Sleepy Hollow.
