The Hawks went with Alastair Who and ended up with a premiership coach. It's what a coach eventually delivers that matters. It's impossible to judge both Hardwick and Scott yet as senior coaches after just a couple of weeks preseason training. Both are just doing what their powers that be want at this stage. North needs all the publicity they can get to keep their head above water financially and they need to deludedly talk finals so both of their supporters and pet dogs sign up again lol. Unlike 2004-5 preseason we have just made a $1-2 million profit so we can keep our mouths finally shut off-field and just let Hardwick get on with the "process" of fixing the on-field problems over the next 3 years.

Well Both new coaches know what it takes to win premierships & thats great for football in general
Scott with 3 premierships at one club Brisbane while Hardwick has been around 3 winning premiership clubs in Essendon, Port Adelaide, & Hawthorn
To me they should both make good coaches & l firmly beleive Hardwick will know after the pre-season what we require to rise to highest playing level
Hardwick has had some good teachers & played along side some great champions so if he can place that into Tigerland its going to be exciting for the future

I've been told the coaching staff are fully aware of the task ahead of them hence the 2010 is a development year talk. You'd expect North to look "ahead" of us probably in the first year or two as they have more mature and experienced players in their mid-late 20s even though they are ordinary. Hardwick should be judged on how we are travelling towards the end of his 2nd year and then 3rd year as the cubs start reaching their early-mid 20s together.
