Win a Footy signed by all 16 AFL Coaches and Captains

Be a good prize to win.

Noticed some ads recently for the Championship Moves campaign where the AFL and the State Government are campaigning to reduce binge drinking related violence. The guy putting ‘The Lasso’ on his mate before he gets in a fight, and another bloke putting ‘The Muzzle’ on his mate before he mouths off.

Turns out they are running a competition now where people are asked to submit videos of their own Championship Moves - where you have saved your mate from getting in a barney or some other form of trouble. The videos are all going up on Youtube (http://youtube.com/championshipmoves) and the top 6 winners get a Sherrin footy signed by all 16 AFL coaches and AFL captains. There’s a Facebook fan page http://facebook.com/championshipmoves and a Twitter profile http://twitter.com/champmoves as well.

This is a ‘money can’t buy’ prize and I’m sure we’ve all got a story we could tell so log on and have a look. Jackstar would have one for sure.

I've been pretty lucky at the footy. Only twice have things got a bit tense but never to punches thrown. One a Swans fan who verbally had a go at me after we had won by goal because he thought I was with the two teenage kids who had been mouthing off at Sydney players all game next to me. His mates pulled the 'lasso'. The other time was a Pies fan who was drinking bourbon at a rate of 6 plastic cups every 10 minutes. He was plastered half-way through the 2nd quarter and started picking on a young female Tigers fan as he was staggering pass to get more bourbon at the bar. We told him to go forth but thankfully before he could do anything at us he fell forward over the seats down in front of us  :rollin. Thankfully with us flogging the Pies that day he left at half-time.
