OER 2010 Footy Tipping Competitions

Hi All,

It is that time of year again for.......

The launch of OER’s 2010 Footy Tipping Competitions


For 2010; like last year OER has 6 different Competitons 

Firstly, like previous years OER will be running the 3 tipping comps that we have had since the site started all those years ago. Again like we’ve done previously most of the comps will have separate end of season prizes for the winners. The competitions should look familiar ….   

As we have had joint winners in the past for some of the comps we thought it would again be wise to plan ahead this season.  So this is how the prizes will work if there is a tie 

1st prize for the One-Eyed tipping comp & the Boogie Knights Comp will be a $100 voucher for a single winner. But if it happens to be 2 way tie the prize pool will be $150 (2 x $75 ea), 3 way tie $210 (3 x $70)

For the Footytips.com comp there be will be a $50 prize (Tiger Den Voucher) for a single winner. If it's a 2 way tie $90, 3 way $120

If there's more than 3 winners .... this will apply                       

Here's the details

1/ OER tipping comp

Prize: $100 Tiger Den Gift Voucher*** see above

Each week pick the winner and margin for the Tigers game plus another match of your own choosing.

For each match each week:
* if you tip the winner and are within or at 10 points either side of the margin you get 2 points.
* Get one or the other get 1 point.
* -1 if you get both wrong.
* Your overall total can never fall below 0.
* Bonus 5 pts if you predict the correct margin and winner.

2/ Boogie's Footy Pick 4

Prize: $100 Tiger Den Gift Voucher*** see above

Tip the winners from any 4 matches of the round. If select all 4 correct you get 1 point.

3/ Footytips.com.au

Prize: $50 Tiger Den Gift Voucher*** see above

Standard one run from footytips.com.au: Try to tip the 8 winners each week
- 1 point for each correct tip.

You will need to create a username if you don't already have one for footytips. Once you've logged on go to OER's tipping comp to join in.

If you were part of the footytips.com.au comp last year just go back there and “re-activate” your account and you are set to go

Mr One-Eyed will confirm the comp name details shortly but hopefully it will be the same as before

Yep I believe it does wayne. The next round it has for tipping is the Qualifying finals.
