Contin should be promoted. He is a decent sized footballer who can come straight into the side if form persists. Gourdis also needs to be given a go. A couple of blokes need to be put on long term injury lists - ie. a couple of players who wont be at the club next year. Club needs to continue to give the young players a go.

It's got to be asked why Polly was promoted when he hasn't been played in the seniors  ???.

We can't promote another rookie-listed player (minus a long-term injury) until after round 11. As for Contin it's ridiculous that he is playing VFL reserves and forced sit behind known duds with no future at Punt Rd in the pecking order.

Patty Contin will be a good player from what i have seen, probably needs another solid pre-season but the experience of playing this year wouldnt hurt him.

Um Ramps, just asking here, but what has he done on field that makes you want him promoted?? Forget about giving youth a go for a minute, but does he deserve it. Don't get me wrong I would love to see it but shouldn't he earn a spot first??

Agree WAT.  Would like to see how he goes in the Coburg seniors first.  Not that I doubt he has the ability - just that form in the 2's is not enough to justify a promotion to the senior list.

Contin doesnt have to have shown anything- if the only thing he does is not turn over the footy than hes better than about 8 blokes playing today including Jackson, White, Tuck etc.

Not often as its on the other side of town but Id rather give a kid a chance than a player whose been around years and makes the same mistakes.
