Would love to know what happened to the pavers that people paid for (money went to the JDF) that were outside the old Social Club, that includes the pavers in order of all the players ever to play for the Tigers

Some donated big $$$$ for those

I can confirm that the pavers are safely in storage. All were pulled up and placed in storage before the demolition of the Social Club. They will be "re-laid" once the new building is complete  :thumbsup

Chutney got a very nice letter from Benny Gale advising the status of the pavers  ;D

Welcome to the latest MCC member news update.
Several months ago, we advised of a proposal for the club to be delegated the management of Yarra Park. The MCC will be investing $16 million into the provision of an independent water supply for the park’s health through the construction of a water recycling plant. This plant will also supply water for both the MCG’s use and for Punt Road Oval.

Looks like we will have a nice green oval for our future stand alone VFL tema to play on  ;D

This preseason is showing why we need our own training ground at Craigieburn. At Punt Rd we have to train around the cricket pitch while alternative nearby grounds like Gosch's Paddock and Vic Park are off-limits to us thanks to Collingwood.
