Benny Gale was just on SEN:
* Worked on this with ME Bank for 6 months. They are a emerging bank with a community focus.
* New centre is in a prominent location. High performance, gym, recovery, staff admin with strong community focus. 3rd floor will be the indigenous centre - help with employment pathways.
* When he was running around he didn't want for much but now top facilities are a key to attract players and staff. Almost a arms race.
* Striking imposing building and its focus on high performance connects with ME Bank. ME Bank Centre with be located at Punt Rd Oval. Punt Rd is part of our DNA so that will be preserved.
* Government sees football as a means to reach out to communities. Look to football clubs to bridge the gap between indigenous and non-indigenous Australians, to connect with multicultural Australia.
* Social media - it's been a unedifying picture with no winners. Got to learn from it. Good for interacting with members but inherent risks when people act irresponsibility.
* Players becoming more familiar with Hardwick's system coming into his second year. He remembers back a year or so ago with the kids there was poor organisation and poor skills. Now they are more familiar with Dimma's training systems and as all clubs say this time of year they are flying. Foley's coming on well and the kids are doing well. It's all exciting at this time this year.
* 22k members before Christmas is a fantastic result. Encouraged more to hop on board.
