B-e

You may need a new full back.  Gourdis was recruited under the TW regime in the PSD back at the end of '07. Then delisted and picked up as a rookie for 2 years...and now back on the senior list.

If nothing else it shows the sheer quanity of players brought into the club over the past two years and the length of the journey ahead. While many of those players may become champions, it is the players we got before Hardwick came that need to be developed and relied upon if we see any success over the next couple of years.

intersting that many of the new players are mature types and not just 18 year olds gourdis, farmer, oreilly, webberly, miller, grigg, houli, nason, derickx to give the Wallace era players a boost before having to wait for the first and 2nd year players to come good.

It also means dea or conca can play at coburg and prove there worth before being given games for Richmond. In positions that hardwick wants them to learn

Hopefully building, this comming year should tell its own little story, must see improvement both individually and generally. Nice side benefit could be some good trade bait taking shape, just in time for free agency.

Why is it ordinary?  Two thirds of that list have either none or only one year in the game at the top level.  At least give them a crack at the title before chucking them on the scrap heap.  Sheesh.

I wouldn't say ordinary??? It looks like a very young side that will take a little more time but when the time comes look out :gotigers :gotigers
