Yep Essendon are so transparent they appoint their favourite son as coach before sacking the old one and then steal another club's coach before the end of their season  .

Doesn't the AFL own each club's name and colours? Part of the deal in 1985 when the VFL clubs handed over power to the then new commission to run and fix up the game.

As for the RFC constitution, OER has had a copy of it since 2004

yeah, i think you are right about the ownership of colors etc MT. The players are all technically employed by the AFL as well, which enables them to avoid restraint of trade issues with the draft etc.

Interestingly richmondfc.com.au is registered to the club, but the tech contact is an AFL.com.au email address.
